About the Project:
Since its construction in 1996, Galerías has offered its clients an exclusive mix of tenants with internationally renowned brands. It is constructed around “La Casona”; a salvadoran architectural jewel dating back to the decade of the fifties. Due to its majesty and beauty, La Casona perfectly integrates to the design of the shopping center, becoming a unique concept even at an international level.
La Casona was built in the 1950’s. In the sixties and seventies it became the headquarters of the Organization of Central American States ODECA, being the first place in Central America where all its leaders met to discuss plans to integrate the Central America as one republic. In the eighties, La Casona was acquired by Simán Group to expand its retail operations through Almacenes Siman.
La Casona makes Galerías a unique concept; together with the Great Plaza and the decorative fountains, they form the perfect space for all kinds of cultural and commercial events.
Centro Comercial Galerías is defined as a shopping center focused on fashion, providing its clients with a unique experience during their visit, by preserving the perfect mix of shops, restaurants and entertainment.
